Some chihuahua pics are available in a rescue, whereas pictures of purebred dogs are obtained mostly from breeders.
This is the world’s smallest and most fragile breed. The dog has very delicate bones that break easily, and even a slight injury may result in sad consequences. Dogs with unclosed moleras are susceptible to head injuries. These animals are very sensitive to cold and hence should not be exposed to temperature fluctuations. They appreciate sweaters on cooler days and must be warmed immediately after a walk on a cold or rainy day. These dogs are prone to snore and wheezing breath, especially species with a pronounced stop. Some animals are prone to hiccups.

The dogs of this breed can be easily recognized by their size, a well rounded head and a tiny muzzle with large luminous eyes and large ears. There exist two types within the breed: smoothcoats and longcoats. But in the UK, they are considered to be two separate breeds. Every coat color is available in this breed, but light solid colors are preferable. Some dogs have a soft spot on the top of the head (fontanel or molera,) which was considered to be a sign of a disease in the past.
