Don’t buy a puppy from breeders who claim that they have only miniature, pocket-size or taco bell dogs. Reputable kennels don’t breed such dogs on purpose; they occur sometimes in the same litter with “normal” puppies and are very weak to survive. Usually these dogs are premature and have not fully developed, but the true tinies possess a dwarf gene that makes them small.
